            I am an accidental psychic medium. I set out over a decade ago on a self-improvement journey. Somehow, I became a certified psychic medium.  Becoming a psychic medium was the farthest thing from my mind. My intention focused upon self-improvement. The purpose of the self-improvement journey was for me to gain insights on understanding my point of view of the world, beliefs and behavior.  At the journey’s beginning, I was open to learn more about emotions, decision-making patterns and/or a new set of beliefs.  I did become more aware about all three of those things. I learned even about those things within me, and discovered something more profound. My story, ‘Hearing God’s Voice in the Noise’, shares how I gained greater understanding about my purpose, my relationship with a greater power, and along the way, discovered the world of mediumship.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           What I discovered is that I have multiple purposes. Each purpose rises to the forefront whenever needed. I reaffirmed that teaching is my passion. I am a mother, wife, sister, aunt, manager, friend, coach, mentor, business owner, and other roles as well that are just as important as the psychic medium role. I will use the term ‘God’ from this point forward in this article. I am in no way intending to diminish anyone’s experiences with angels, guides, loved one’s in spirit or other deities. I am speaking only about my journey. I know that I am a creation of the Creator, God, Divine, or Source (or whatever name you choose that works for you).  God is the great ‘I am’.  My spiritual journey made me more aware that ‘I am’ is paired with action. ‘I am’ leads to ‘I do’ action. My psychic abilities are a manifestation of ‘I am’ paired with ‘I do’. I depend on God to show me what to say or do in readings. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           A true psychic must have faith that each thought, during the reading, is a thought coming from a source that cannot be seen with the physical eyes. I believe that God guides me. This led me to another discovery: the relationship between my psychic journey and my religious journey. I experienced an “awareness” explosion of God’s work in my life.   I compared my religious beliefs with my personal spiritual experiences and as a result, many Bible passages became more alive within me.  My faith in God grew more when I trusted my psychic abilities more and vice versa. It was and still is a wonderful experience of never-ending awe in regard to my relationship with a greater power. I believe that having faith in the unseen is a tenant for being psychic and a tenant for many religions. The ‘God’, for some psychics, begins and ends with divination tools such as Tarot, runes, pendulums, etc. These tools do not build self-confidence nor faith in a greater power. They are just tools. Just think about a farmer. The farmer is not a tractor nor the shovel nor the seed. A true farmer understands the tools he needs to produce an abundant crop. My definition of a true psychic is that knowing of a greater power and cultivating a relationship for greater awareness. Divination tools are just that – tools. There is a time and place for tools. I use tools when I am divinely led to do so. For me, I to listen to God’s voice in whatever psychic form it takes. It is my responsibility to discern God’s voice from other energy sources. This is true regardless of what type of service I am providing.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
                   Again, it has been over a decade since I first started this journey. In that time, I have provided hundreds of readings. I have a special gift for providing Divine Love, Wisdom, and Guidance to everyone I interact with. I believe that my clients and I are paired in our spiritual quests. Why do we end up with so many excuses about what we cannot do or achieve in our lives? We have every resource we need within us. One small step to change from the excuses of 'I can't because' to 'I can because' starts with changing a belief. Here is part of my 'no more excuses' journey.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
             While I intentionally set out to change my behavior by practicing The Four Agreements as much as possible, I took on another challenge as a result of another self-help book: Dr. Wayne Dyer's book Excuses Begone!: How to Change Lifelong Self-Defeating Thinking Habits.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            'If no one told me who I was, who would I be? Quietly meditate on this by spending some time in the spaciousness of not knowing. Imagine that your subconscious mind is nonexistent, and there is no storage receptacle for excuses during your life. There's just an open and inviting clear space inside of you —a tabula rasa, or blank slate, with a magical surface that nothing adheres to. You might imagine that your everyday conscious mind doesn't absorb the opinions of the folks you grew up with. In this little fantasy, there's never been anyone telling you who you are. So, who are you?'
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           Who am I? Given the above scenario, this question was huge then and still is today. About halfway through the book, I began to believe it was a matter of will to change my behavior yet again. Dr. Dyer lists a range of excuses that many of us use just out of habit. There are excuses that are convenient to use. One of my convenient excuses for unhealthy habits was 'We are all going to die anyway. Right?' I was very young at the time, so the discussion about excuses was eye-opening. I had no idea that repeating this thought could change my brain's physical nature due to the low-level negative emotions attached to this statement. It sounded awful. It was awful. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Once I began to eliminate excuses in my life, I could see how many times I chose not to pursue a goal or a dream because of some excuse. I found out how often I said 'no' to myself. No one else needed to that job. I was pretty good at doing that to myself. I also realized that it is easy to make up a future scenario in my head as an excuse to avoid something. For example, when I discovered how much I really liked exploring my psychic abilities, it was okay to keep that to myself. When I discovered that I could divine answers for others, I came up with all kinds of excuses why I should stop that practice. Excuses like 'I could be setting myself up for an afterlife in hell', 'I could be wrong', 'I don't have enough experience', 'The religious people I know may lash out at me for doing readings', 'I probably like this because it is some kind of ego trip. That's not good either.'
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
             One day I decided to keep the phrase 'Excuses Begone' in front of me because I needed a constant reminder. Since I spent a good chunk of my day at work, I wrote 'Excuses Begone' on the white board in my office. This mantra influenced the way I made decisions and the emotional tone of my emails. I wanted to avoid sharing an excuse for feeling blocked on a project that was behind schedule. I did not want to respond with an excuse that sounded like 'blaming others' for anything that did not go well. This change in thinking forced me to acknowledge the situation. When I quickly acknowledged the problem, possible solutions easily flowed into my mind. I found that when I eliminated the excuse, I felt better because the focus was on the best way forward. Dr. Dyer's book, if you are willing to read it, helps you to look at habitual positive and negative thoughts to uncover another aspect of who you are.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           My willingness to observe my use of excuses, helped me to no longer use them to stop doing what I really enjoyed – practicing my psychic abilities. I finally accepted the passion I have for understanding and utilizing my psychic abilities. I demonstrated this by providing readings and teaching classes that help strengthen psychic awareness. No more excuses! I now have plenty of days of gratitude that I found this one book that convinced me to make a change in my favor. No More Excuses and Filled with Gratitude! I think God smiled when I made that declaration!

           My spiritual development journey started as a child. I practiced Catholicism, Episcopal-isms and Baptist-isms from childhood through adulthood. Each of these ‘isms” had some similarities. Where the beliefs differed, caused me great internal conflict. Logically speaking, these three religious paths could not all be the absolute truth. The content of my prayers changed from religion to religion. Each of these religions believed in a higher power. I decided that higher power would also be my focus. That higher power heard my prayers. This eventually led me to a potent prayer life because I experienced a stronger open relationship with that higher power. What follows are my thoughts about a good solid prayer practice. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            nine potent prayer habits
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           to keep in mind to start or reset your prayer practice.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           Create a sacred place
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

            within your home for your prayer activity. Go there when you feel there is a need to be in prayer. This could be your favorite chair, a home office space, your bathroom, or even a prayer closet. For you DIY’ers – your prayer place could be the garage or workshop. For artists, their studio may be the most sacred space in their life. Use the space that brings you peace.
           &#xD;

           Pray with veracity and love.

            Take a moment to fill your heart with love. Imagine yourself to be a beacon of love – a beacon emanating pure positive light energy.

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

            Establish a routine.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Once is not enough! Establish a prayer routine so that it becomes a habit. Repetition builds energetic power for you and the impact of your prayers.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            I personally recommend positive prayers. Positive prayers are filled with the desire for positive outcomes in life: Blessing, healing, gratitude and appreciation prayers center me emotionally and spiritually. 
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            When I think about praying because I have a problem that seems to be unsolvable or the solution is one that is very undesirable, I stop myself. This is the time to ask for direction or guidance. I know that with every problem there is a spiritual solution. Through multiple prayer sessions, trial and error, I learned how God guides me to the best solution.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;

           1.	Establish a daily prayer routine. Repetition builds energetic power for you and the impact of your prayers.

      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           2.	Create a sacred place within your home for your prayer activity.  Go there when you feel there is a need to be in prayer. For artists, their studio may be the most sacred space in their life.  Use the space that brings you peace.

           3.	Pray for yourself, so you bring the best for yourself physically and spiritually.

           4.	Pray with veracity and love. Take a moment to fill your heart with love. If you need assistance, call on Archangel Chamuel to fill your heart with his loving energy. Call any Divine being that you know their energy is based in love. Prayers of gratitude also raise the vibration to a loving state.

           5.	Pray with intention. Clearly state the result you desire. Being specific and focused during prayer. This increases the power of the prayer and will allow you to more easily recognize the answer or outcome of the prayer.

  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           6.	Speak out loud to add power. There is power in the voice that is spoken from the depths of the soul. Even when it is just a whisper, your voice has real spiritual laden power.
          &#xD;

  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           7.	After accomplishing the above for yourself, then pray for others.

           8.	Keep a power prayer journal - document how God has responded to your prayers.

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           Many of you have your favorite prayer to recite or type of prayer that brings results in your life.  Here is one of my favorite prayers:  The Peace Prayer.

           The Peace Prayer has within it a list of emotions that many of us have experienced. This prayer gave me instruction or guide to follow when I am in a less than favorable situation.  The second through the sixth line reflects circumstances you could find yourself: hatred, injury, terror, despair, darkness, and sadness.  For example, “Where there is hatred, let me sow love;” Initially, I imagined that someone else was spewing hatred, and I was to bring love into that situation.  Later, after saying this prayer many times, wisdom stepped in and made me ask myself, “When I am the one spewing hatred, can I make a shift to sow love?”  I found that I could shift.  Changing my point of view was a sign that I was expanding my spiritual awareness. Repeated awareness to shift my negative emotions/reactions under various situations to something more loving was a sign of Spiritual Stamina – stick-to-itiveness of this wisdom.  It has been my experience that it is easier for me to see the struggle in someone else than to admit my struggle.   We must always go within to know the truth about ourselves and in every situation.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
             
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Prayer time is a perfect time to be honest and open with yourself and the God of your understanding.  Eight simple steps that can take less than 10 minutes a day is all you need to build spiritual strength and spiritual stamina.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           Meditation is an experience of “no time”, “no thing”, and “no where”. You are meditating when you no longer aware of the time, your body feels weightless, and you’ve lost awareness of your environment. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           ﻿
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Meditation causes our brain waves to move from the hectic beta waves or analytical state to a slower and coherent alpha waves or a creative state. When we are in the alpha state, the brain and body work as one. There is no confusion nor chaos in the alpha state. Alpha state opens the gateway to the subconscious mind where our habits live. When our brain slows enough to allow us to align with our most perfect spiritual nature, we allow effortless healing to take place.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           ﻿
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          ﻿
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            You will need to choose a special place for meditating and a time when you will have no interruptions. Before starting a meditation, I prepare my mediation space. The music must be relaxing and something I listen to even if I were not meditating. Sometimes I burn incense. I encourage you to choose a scent that calms you or brings happy memories. I light one or more white candles. I choose a comfortable place to sit. My meditation room is my sacred space. All of this signals that I am giving a gift to myself and I am submitting myself to a higher power. 
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           ﻿
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          ﻿
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Identify your higher power. What do you call it? This is my time to connect deeply with the Holy Spirit. This is my time to connect with my soul. This is my time to be. Yes. It is wonderful to be alone but not lonely. I am experiencing what God created me to be - spirit. During meditation, the world falls away from my awareness. There is no sense of time, body nor environment. So, why is this important? While we are on earth, we experience stimuli that help us to take actions. Stimuli are a natural part of life. Stimuli can come from television, the Internet, radio, magazines, books and movies, animals and people we directly interact with daily. We respond to it all mentally and physically. We grow to depend on stimuli to help form decisions. Some decisions are good, and some are not so good. The not so good decisions can lead to frustration, remorse, regret, sadness, anger and a slew of other degrees of negative feelings. Our bodies react to all that we experience. The reactions from stressful stimuli may be in the form of sleepless nights, headaches, panic attacks, and low immune symptoms as examples. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           ﻿
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          ﻿
          &#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Meditation teaches how to invoke positive loving feelings.  One method is remembering a happy occasion or a time where you felt love. Once the feeling overcomes you, observe how it feels within your body. Where do you feel the warmth? Is it in one spot like your heart? Does it saturate your entire body? If this method does not work for you, keep experimenting with ways to feel love, peace or joy. When I follow this practice, I set the tone for my day. Then, when challenges arise, I can more easily observe the situation and be inspired with a response based in love. In other words, meditation influences my behavior throughout the day so that I can put my best foot forward.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           ﻿
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I set an intention for every meditation session. Setting an intention for a meditation allows you to have a way to know if the meditation is helping you.  Meditations can help accelerate physical and emotional healing, improve focus for daily routines, break bad habits, initiate a stream creativity, and invoke love, compassion, and joy among other things.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           ﻿
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          ﻿

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            There are sessions I ask to receive guidance concerning important matters. Guidance may come from angels, Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit. I consider these channels to be the same as God’s voice. I have received messages from folks that have passed away a long time ago.  Throughout the day, I receive reminders about the guidance.  Sometimes the reminder is part of a conversation. Sometimes a thought pops into my head as a reminder. I always smile when this happens. It is as if the meditation session continues in the background, or in the subconscious part of my mind. Without setting an intention, I’m without a way to know if the meditation is helping me. Therefore, I set an intention for each meditation.

           Meditation means you intentionally change your brain waves to experience “no time”, “no body” and “no environment”. Meditation causes a shift from as analytical mind to a creative mind, to go from a worried mind to a peaceful mind, or whatever you choose as your intention. Just meditate and you will be at peace more often, wiser, and more focused which means a better quality of life. Meditate and be transformed.

Weight loss meditations can help, over time, to change the subconscious to only contain the new thought processes for healthier eating patterns thus helping you develop what works best for you.  Exercise and other useful healthy life style behaviors can become a part of your routine quicker with a supportive meditation.

            Meditation time is a gift I give myself every day. Meditation coupled with prayer is a great thing to have as a daily discipline. My favorite meditations are the ones that guide you to meet a Spirit guide, angels, your higher self, or an ascended master.  I enjoy meditations for physical healing. Meditations that help activate the chakras are relaxing and healing too. There is a meditation out there for anything you want to change or improve in your life including topics like improving communication skills, lucid dreaming, enhance creativity and losing weight. Start a meditation practice. Make a positive difference in your life. Give yourself the gift of meditation.

            Imagine that you believe you are psychic but you are struggling how to clearly identify your gift. During a workshop, you participate in a meditation. Your experience was unexplainable pain in your hips during the meditation.  Before you share, you take a deep breath and hope you don’t sound foolish when you describe your experience.  You say, “My hips hurt during the entire meditation.  They were fine before and they are not aching now”.  The student next to you says, “I’m sorry.  You must be picking up on my hip.  I had hip surgery not too long ago and I’m still a bit sore’.  You are an empath that takes on the physical sensations from others.

The extra pounds come on as easily as you hold on to the additional stress you feel from others. Losing the weight is a challenge.  It is easier to lose a pound or two when you are on your own with a lot of ‘me time’.  It is easier because the extra weight subconsciously energetic protection.  So when you are alone, you don’t need as much protection.  However, without you being aware, it is easy to yo-yo diet. You love getting your neck and shoulders massaged.  You think it is just better blood flow.  Not only is it better blood flow, the massage energetically releases the stress you have picked up from others you work with. It’s like letting the air out of an over-inflated balloon before it bursts.

         My answer when others ask me how I feel about our COVID-19 circumstances and the current protests is “emotional”.  I feel emotional.  That is the God’s honest truth for me.  The protests bring up a myriad of emotions.  I hate violence.  I love that people have joined together to speak with one voice about injustice.  So there you have it: love and hate alternating within me.  Anyone else feeling something similar?
         &#xD;

           Embracing my psychic identity allows me to be extremely aware of my emotions. Emotional psychics feel an emotion from family, friends, clients, and themselves.  This occurs all day long.  The degree to which we are aware of these emotions is based upon the degree we acknowledge the psychic side of ourselves.  I believe we all are psychic and have all sorts of emotions raging through our mind, body and soul.

           Love. Hate. Frustration. Sadness. Joy. Hope.  These are some of the emotions coming from you, and at you from others.  Guess what? You and I cannot hold two emotions at the same time.  That is impossible. You may find yourself waffling between emotions.  This experience may feel beyond your control.  When I am aware of this, I must choose the emotion that I want to own as MY TRUTH. I must choose to think about those two circumstances (COVID-19 and protests) in a way that is for my highest and greatest good.  I implore you to do the same.

           Try this grounding visualization when you feel overloaded. Schedule some quiet time alone.  Choose a place where you will not be interrupted. Being alone to recharge will help you decompress.  Practice this visualization to return to your center.

            Psychic Kimberly’s eyes opened from a deep sleep. Today, her dream put a smile on her face.  She awakened from a version of the world, a dream world, where she was knee deep in doing readings at various fairs.  Psychics were tagged ‘Readers’.  The fairs’ floor was packed tightly with readers’ tables.  So close that each reader was in earshot of another reader.  Sage, lavender, Nag champ, palo santo and other mystical scents filled the air. Just heavenly! The sounds of chairs squeaking as readers adjust seats for themselves and their sitters, cards shuffling, and the prayers being sent out to the universe were like music to her ears. Each table decorated in a way to signal something about the Reader.  Beautiful crystals and stones adorned some tables. Perfect flower arrangements welcomed sitters.  Intricate multi-colored patterned tablecloths adorned many tables.  Some psychics may find this setup a challenge, but Kimberly thrived in this type of high energy environment.  The closeness forced her or reminded her to focus on what she was there to provide – wonderful readings for each and every sitter. She smiled because it was an omen of the future and a happy memory all in one dream.

          The Life of a Psychis: Feeling a Bit Mental 
         &#xD;
  &lt;/font&gt;&#xD;

         There are days that I feel a bit mental.  If I am being honest, I would call it scatter-brained.  The definitions for being scatter-brained aren’t flattering either.

      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/b&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;b&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Scatterbrain definition is - a person who is forgetful, disorganized, or unable to concentrate or think clearly.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;b&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           A person regarded as flighty, thoughtless, or disorganized. scat′ter·brained′ adj. n a person who is incapable of serious thought or concentration n.

  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            It is on those days that I want to accomplish a lot of stuff.  Big stuff and little stuff.   There is a bigger scheme at play that has led me to cling to a long list of to-do’s.  I wish it were a honey-do list because I could just pass the responsibility on to someone else.  Sigh… 
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
             
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            The reality of the situation is that I must do these things or my day will be unsuccessful.  Yes, at the beginning of the list conquering adventure, I have this “all or nothing” mindset.  You got it -- that is no way to start the day. However, it does happen to the best of us.  The list proceeds to create a flurry of thoughts throughout the day. So how can I manage all of those thoughts from my to-do list?
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            Thought is an energy.  Think if it as playdoh.  We create with thought.  In our mind, thought has an appearance of real forms.  Therefore, I start thinking about the form that I am presented with.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            Thought ➡ thinking➡ feelings.   How fast we go through this process and jumping from topic to topic, we feel scatterbrained.  Even worse, others may view us that way, too.  So let’s get a closer look at what’s happening. 
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            Thinking is one of the uses of thought.   Thinking is observing and acting on the creations of thought.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            Okay! Okay! Enough pf the philosophical theoretical talk about thoughts!  What does this have to do with a life of a psychic?
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

            Psychics are individuals that are sensitive to receiving thought impressions from people, places, and things or PPT as I like to call them.  Since I am psychic, I receive thoughts from PPT.  So, when I have a to-do list that has already initiated a myriad of thoughts for the day, that list competes with thoughts I receive from PPT. Thus I can begin to feel a bit mental, aka, scatter-brained.  There is good news.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            If you are like me, feeling bombarded by disconnected thoughts at times, chalk it up to being a psychic that is categorized as a mental intuitive. 
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            Mental intuitives are drawn to astrology, numerology, healing through Advanced Technology, writing, and inventing.  They are naturally mentally telepathic, as they have the gift of being able to receive the thoughts and ideas of others (remember PPT?).  There are a host of other things they are known for:

      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;ul&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
            
              They are inquisitive
             &#xD;
          &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
            
              They  can inspire others to believe and work toward improving conditions
             &#xD;
          &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
            
              They can be profits who foretell the future of cultural medical and scientific trends
             &#xD;
          &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
            
              They may be the first to invent or use evolutionary scientific or healing instruments
             &#xD;
          &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
            
              They may be at the forefront of medical advances
             &#xD;
          &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
            
              Their minds can be fully tuned to the super consciousness, absorbing truth and possibility
             &#xD;
          &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/ul&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            Wow!  So much good about being a bit mental.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            Someone who reads energy through the mind is likely to be prone to much muscle tension and stress. They might also suffer with panic, anxiety, insomnia, headache, and sinus issues. The mind is overloaded with energy from all the PPT’s they encounter.  This overload may also inhibit decision-making and direct experience. The sixth chakra, located in the head, can become overstimulated and overworked.  Thus scatterbrained. Mental intuitives can be hard on themselves. They can place unwritten unrealistic expectations what they can accomplish, re. “To-do” list, often pushing themselves beyond what is reasonable.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            If you can relate to any part of this article, here are some suggestions to find your way back to a sense of balance:
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;ul&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
            
              Exercise of any kind to slow the mind chatter
             &#xD;
          &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
            
              Puzzles or some similar game to challenge the mind in a fun way. This leads to relaxation and renewal.
             &#xD;
          &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
            
               Active meditations: Focused breathing, Yoga, nature walks
             &#xD;
          &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
            
              Become an observer of thought and then respond. This helps to build psychic awareness overtime.
             &#xD;
          &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/ul&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            Lastly – never again call yourself scatter-brained or mental (with the negative connotation).  There is a real reason for why you approach your world in your own way.  You just may need to understand it more and leverage the upside of what you find.  
           &#xD;
      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
        
            Feeling a bit mental?  Yes, and it is a good thing.
           &#xD;

           The medical community has found that our emotions impact our physical health. Workaholics and those in a constant state of stress are more prone to more sick days due to headaches, ulcers, heart issues. According to the article

           If stress levels are are left untreated for a long period of time this becomes what is known as Chronic stress. This can stem from poverty, toxic relationships, or a bad job.  Of course, the article goes on to describe the diseases and health risks that can stem from chronic stress.

            You can do this ‘Release and Renew’ process by yourself or friends or family. This ritual invokes support, compassion and a sense of agape love.  
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Items needed:  pen, paper, voice recorder
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;b&gt;&#xD;
        
            Here's the ritual:
           &#xD;
      &lt;/b&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;

            1.	Find a quiet place in your home or out in nature and the items listed with you.

        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            2.	Sit quietly and begin deep cleansing breaths.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;div&gt;&#xD;

             1.	Inhale through your mouth to a slow count of 4.  Exhale slowing to a count of 4.  The goal is to reach a state of calm.  So, adjust the count’s pace as needed.

      &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/blockquote&gt;&#xD;

            3.	Take out a piece of paper and write a list of everything that you want to let go of from 2019 or any part of your past. These can include habits, behaviors, limiting beliefs, fears, physical conditions, feelings of resentment, conflicts, or thoughts that don't serve you.

      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            4.	Then thank all those items on that list for having been with you and for all the lessons learned and ways you grew from them.  This step may take some time to honestly identify lessons learned.  Emotions may shift here as well.  Many experience a degree of grief and others experience relief.  Allow yourself to experience emotions with the intention of letting go and renewing.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
              
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            5.	Turn on your voice recorder. State today’s date and year.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            6.	Next make clear statements out loud of letting go such as: "I now let go of all these things and anything else that no longer serves me and my miraculous life as I step into a glorious 2020(substitute the time period of your choice)."                “I release all that no longer serves me whether it is in my awareness or not.”        “I open and allow God to show me the way forward so that I never look backward on those things that no longer serve me.”
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            7.	Imagine gathering around a fire in a fireplace and throw the paper in to be burned.  You can literally burn the paper, if you feel inspired to do so.  Just be careful.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            8.	Then speak out loud everything you're grateful for from the past year -- the joys, celebrations, accomplishments, lessons learned, and "growth" experiences. 
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            9.	And now it's time to call in what you'd like to bring forward in 2020 (or the time period that you have chosen)—so speak out loud everything that you welcome into your vision of the New Year—the intentions, beliefs, behaviors, relationships and everything else that you will embrace. 
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            10.	 Stop the recording and save it.  Rename it something like ‘Release and Renew’.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Play the recording when inspired to do so.  When you feel things are not going as planned, listen to the recording.  You may be surprised to find that you are experiencing the change you requested on your recording.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

           I published a book last year that shares how I followed my intuition to discover another way I could serve others with joy.  It covers years of milestone decisions that were truly based on the promptings of my soul, guides, angels, and God.  Of course, I can’t go back in time and discern the source of each of those decisions.  What matters the most is that I followed those urging.  It continues to be a wonderful journey.  I’m wiser and I am still learning.  I see life unfolding and it, most of the time is not a surprise but an ‘Oh, I see why’ moment. It’s wonderful!

      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

             4. Gratitude enhances empathy and reduces aggression.

            Grateful people are more likely to behave in a prosocial manner, even when others behave less kind, according to a 2012 study by the University of Kentucky. Study participants who ranked higher on gratitude scales were less likely to retaliate against others, even when given negative feedback. They experienced more sensitivity and empathy toward other people and a decreased desire to seek revenge.

             5. Grateful people sleep better.

            Spend just 15 minutes jotting down a few grateful sentiments before bed, and you may sleep better and longer.

            Take the time to research how people have overcome traumatic events in their lives.  A significant factor is gratitude. Recognizing all you have to be thankful for – even during the worst times of your life – fosters resilience.

         If God answers prayers, why can't I hear God?  Why don't I get the answers that I want?  How can it be that some folks are psychic and others are not?  What does it mean to be Psychic?
         &#xD;

    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      
           These are just a few of many questions I had along my spiritual journey. I believe that God led me to the teachers who taught that with effort and practice that we can learn the language of God.  It was literally by accident that I came across a development circle that taught how to receive messages from Spirit.  My original intent was to heighten my psychic abilities.  Fortunately, my journey was much more than psychic abilities. It was about a heightened intensified relationship with the Holy Spirit that can only happen by learning to listen with spiritual ears.

         The other day a client shared her concern about her busy non-stop thoughts. She wanted to know how to quiet her mind. She felt that her head was always full of thoughts. Just one thought right after another. So much so, she equated peace with no thoughts. Have you yearned for inner peace? Have you ever aimed for a quiet mind?
         &#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          My standard answer is to begin a daily meditation practice. If I had ended my answer there, my client would likely do a search on the internet for “meditation”. There are thousands of hits for the word meditation. There are many different types of meditations. She may have been overwhelmed by so many choices. It’s like a kid in a candy shop feeling of excitement and anticipation. Then comes the challenge. Which candy will satisfy you? Do you taste them all to find an answer? In this case, which meditation will satisfy you? How many must you experience before you find the perfect one?
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          But what happened is that Spirit reminded me of my experience of discovering the gap. The gap is the silence between thoughts and between words. It is the silence that allows music to be composed. The gap is the silence between the notes. Sometimes the gap is long and sometimes it is so short that we tend to ignore it. The noticeable gap in music is called a rest. My client wanted to experience a rest between thoughts. Not just a rest but a peaceful rest that is refreshing to one’s soul. She wanted to rest in the gap.
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Years ago, “Getting in the Gap” by Dr. Wayne Dyer introduced me to the concept of the gap between thoughts. I was very surprised that the guided meditation used The Lord’s Prayer for the meditation. Not only did I yearn for the resting in the gap, but I could also practice this skill with a prayer that I’ve known since my childhood. Perfect!
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          I shared this meditation with my client and demonstrated how to practice the technique. She understood immediately and felt that this information was golden. However, just when I thought this topic was winding down, Spirit reminded me about the importance of resting in the gap.
         &#xD;

    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
